The 'Perfect Time' Will Never Come....

The heading above is not written in a negative sense. It's just that we want you to stop waiting for the so called "perfect time" , be it to express your feelings , to start something new or to move on in life. There are many people who run away from their problems and delay in solving them. They make lame excuses such as : "This is not the right time... " . But these people, actually, are themselves not aware of that time.

Start early.... Start now.....

We often hear people saying :

  •  "I'll do my work once the weekend arrives. "(though they are capable of doing the task , the same day itself)
  • "I'll propose her on Valentine's Day.. I'll wait till then.. " (he might lose his chance till then)
May I ask , why to wait when you have the potential to do a task at a earlier stage?
Why to drag things and delay??

Are you saying 'you're afraid' ? Well, this may be one of the most common answer. Let me tell you, you will lead to 'NoWhere' in life , with this attitude of yours . There may be situations in your life that would have made you the way you are.. But change is required in every aspect of life.
So why not change for your own benefit?
Why don't you just try once to open up whenever you feel like , share your feelings , come out of hesitation?

Trust me you'll feel much ,much better and confident.
If you keep on waiting for the 'perfect day' in your life, you can never move forward. So, the next time you decide something , go for it without wasting a second even !! You never know what happens later.

"Life can leave your side any time. So do what you wish to.. Enjoy to the fullest .. !! Cuz you do not know what happens the very next moment . "

Think Before You Judge (Short Story)

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes and went directly to the surgery block.  He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.
On seeing him, the father yelled, “Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?”
The doctor smiled and said, “I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital and I came as fast as I could after receiving the call and now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work”.

“Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would you calm down? If your own son dies while waiting for doctor than what will you do??” said the father angrily.  The doctor smiled again and replied, “We will do our best by God’s grace and you should also pray for your son’s healthy life”.
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.
The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy, “Thank goodness! your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running by saying, “If you have any questions, ask the nurse”.
“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.  The nurse answered, tears coming down her face, “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was at the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery.  And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.”

Why Isaac Newton never married?

Isaac Newton was born on 25th December , 1642, just three months after the death of his father.Newton was a natural philosopher. Newton's father was a prosperous farmer. He was born prematurely.  His mother Hannah reportedly said that he could have fit inside a quart mug (≈ 1.1 litres). When Newton was three, his mother remarried and went to live with her new husband, Rev. Smith, leaving her son in the care of his maternal grandmother. She and Rev. Smith had three children.  The young Isaac disliked his stepfather and maintained some enmity towards his mother for marrying him.

When Rev. Smith died in 1653, Isaac was ten years old and he returned to his mother's household. As his father had been a farmer, Hannah decided that Isaac should also be a farmer, and thus took him away from his school studies. He hated farming.  He spent a year away from school on the farm, at quite a critical time in his education. Later in his life, at the age of nineteen, Isaac grew very resentful of how his mother had left him when he was young.

Newton never married. Although it is impossible to verify, it is commonly believed that he died a virgin.French writer and philosopher Voltaire, who was in London at the time of Newton's funeral, claimed to have verified the fact, writing that "I have had that confirmed by the doctor and the surgeon who were with him when he died" (allegedly Newton stated on his deathbed that he was a virgin). In 1733, Voltaire publicly stated that Newton "had neither passion nor weakness; he never went near any woman".

Newton's childhood experiences such as death of his father before his birth, his mothers re-marriage to a man he did not like, etc. might had been a reason. Childhood experiences can spoil a person’s outlook on further adult relationships. But I like to believe that Isaac Newton was married to Science and to his career as a Scientist. He spent hours in his Lab and for research.

However Isaac Newton became one of the most influential scientists of all time and is regarded as a key figure in the scientific revolution.

It's not what you look at, that matters. It's what you see.

How much time do you spend judging others, making fun of others and criticizing them? When someone cuts us off in the traffic, we mumble and abuse. When we see someone wearing something from a few decades back.We say.."Oh god..she needs a makeover...!"You would definitely agree with all of these. We judge other's clothing, action and words...Judging is something we do without thinking.
But have you just realized there are times when you have cut someone off in traffic, worn outfits that weren't fabulous.
So why do we do it???

  • We are insecure - This is perhaps the main reason why we judge. When we are insecure or unhappy we try to put others down.We want to feel good by making others feel bad.
  • We are lonely - There is a bonding element that goes along with judging others. When we talk about others, most people gladly join us.
  • We are seeking change - When we want our own lives to be different,we are quick enough to judge others lives. For example: if someone wants to be in a committed relationship and his friend gets engaged, he might whisper, "Oh,that girl is just not right for him.I don't know why they are getting married".If we are jealous of other's lives we are likely to make quick judgements.

What happens??

  • Hurts other people- It may hurt people in unexpected ways.
  • Makes you feel worse about yourself- When you judge others, you feel bad and guilty later on.You feel bad of having placed such harsh judgements on others.
  • Put negativity in the world- These judgements bring nothing good to the world. They bring others down and make a unhappy place to live in.
  • Encourages you to judge yourself- For example- when we judge what other people wear, we would be extremely concerned about our own clothing.

Ways to stop judging:-

  • Monitor your thoughts-Think about what you are thinking.
  • Look for the positive-There always something positive you can find in someone or something. And of course if you can't find something nice to say, then don't say anything at all.
  • Focus on your own life-Why waste time judging others.Ignore what others are doing, wearing.Think about your own life.
  • Remember how it feels- Remember how it feels to be judged. AND remember how it felt the last time you judged someone.
Let's stop placing so many judgements on others...It's up to us to change..!

Happy Birthday Chilli...!!

Friendship is about bringing out the positive when everthing seems negative, being accepted for who you are, being able to pick up right where you left off...sharing,talking and laughing. Friendship is about us, and for that I'm grateful.
May your special day be surrounded with happiness, filled with laughter , wrapped with pressure, brightened
with fun, blessed with love, remembered with joy and enriched with happiness...Love you!!

           Many
                      many
                                  happy returns of the day......
May god fulfill all your dreams.....Stay blessed!!!
Happy Bday my friend...

FRIENDS FOREVER...
Keep smiling dear!!!!

BELIEVE YOU CAN...

Do you know that positive thinking ,like hardwork is one of the most important keys to success????
Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that keeps us focussed towards the brighter side of life.A positive person is always happy, healthy and succesful in life and firmly believes that he or she can overcome all the obstacles and difficulties in life...
Most of us consider it as nonsense and laugh at people who follow it, but there are a large number of people who accept positive thinking as a fact and do believe in its effectiveness...It is a way of life. One small positive thought in the morning can change our whole day.If we are positive and happy, we feel people around us are happy too...It awakens in us the energy, motivation and inner strength..

Whereas negative thoughts preoccupy our minds and effect us badly. We are never able to look at the positive side and our health too is affected. It creates a negative environment, mood and behaviour. When the mind is negative, poisons are released into the blood, which cause further negativity and frustation.People are more likely to help us, talk to us and be-friend us if we are positive and cheerful. We affect and are definitely affected by the people we meet in our lives. This happens at a subconscious level through words, thoughts, feelings, gestures and through body language..

In order to adopt a positive attitude, inner work is required since attitude and thoughts do not change overnight..
*Visualize the positive aspects of each situation.
*Use positive words while talking to others.
*Smile a little more,as it helps to think positively.
*Ignore what others say or think about you.
*Get rid of negative people.
*Use positive words like 'I can','It is possible','It can be done'.
*Disregard and ignore negative thoughts.

WE need to adopt a positive attitude in everything we do.
Are you willing to change the way you think?

How Our Brains Stop Us From Achieving Our Goals (and How to Fight Back)

(Fantasizing means indulging in daydreaming about something desired.)
Would you believe that fantasizing can lead to demotivation and can ruin your goals? A research has proved this. According to psychologists , though fantasizing is essential and benificial, too much of it can prove to be disastrous.
For example : a challenge mostly faced by the young generation :
Challenge : to find a fulfilling job
The people who spent a lot of time in fantasizing , performed the worst in some points:
- they were offered fewer jobs
- they applied for lesser jobs
- if they got a job, they had lesser salaries

Now you would wonder , why does this happen?
Actually , when we fantasize we expect that we will be greeted with success and it seems like we have already attained our goal. This works as a concealer which hides the  problems we are likely to face along the path to reach our goal. So, we ned to be realistic in our approach.

We often make to-do lists every now and then , be it regarding day to day studies or future career plans. We are very confident that we would be able to perform all the tasks as scheduled. But we all know that this seldom happens. This is because we do not want to consider the difficulties and we deliberately ignore them. As a result we end up messing our lives.

So what should be done?
- Be practical in your approach.
You cannot finish a week's work in an hour or so.
- Do make plans and fantasize about your future but keep yourself notified about the upcoming dangers and take suitable steps to avoid the same.
- Give your mind some rest. After all it works all day round.
- Never be in a hurry. Give proper time to every task you do.
- Give sufficient time to relaxation, meditation and enjoyment.
- Do not indulge in procrastination. (Now you think where did this alien word come from...)
Well, procrastination means doing less urgent tasks in comparison to the more urgent ones and thus delaying tasks, sometimes making them reach to the deadline.

In all, very less people are able to manage between fantasy and reality and the one who gets through this finds success.
Do give a thought ... This can be a turning point...

Are the circles moving?

INDIA SAW 1,35,445 SUICIDES LAST YEAR

Is suicide according to you a normal human action? Is it normal for a human being to have a desire to leave the face of the Earth? The answer seems obvious, but clearly it is not to the 1,000,000 people who commit suicide annually in the world.
Since life started on earth, people have been committing suicide. The term suicide describes the  act of taking one’s own life.Suicide is often used as an escape from painful circumstances.
The  growing feelings of loneliness, rootlessness, and the meaninglessness of life are contributing to increased suicide rates.

Suicidal tendencies among students have gone up as they are burdened with greater expectations from the parents coupled with academic pressure.Statistics show that more and more students are taking the extreme step of suicide in a bid to end their misery. The causes are due to failure or rejection by the society, failure of friendships and relationships… and not for purely economic reasons as was in the past. Generation gap too has been playing a significant role in driving the youngsters to commit suicide. Parents are busy in their respective professions and hardly have time to deal with the problems of their kids.Students are in great need of support during examination period, but they seldom find moral support and love from their parents.
How can we end the issue of suicide? Realistically, we can’t. All that we can do is an attempt to prevent it and help those in need.
Just remember that death can never provide relief…Pain is temporay but suicide is permanent and you cannot believe the impact it has on our family, friends and relatives.

Virtual World seems to be more Real - (NOMOPHOBIA)

You might be wondering, "What in the world is nomophobia?". But before you proceed further I assure that you have it..
'Phobia' is a fear of something that causes anxiety and stress.
But Nomo … what is nomo? Nomo is an abbreviation for “NO MOBILE PHONES”. The term was created after a study, conducted four years ago discovered that 53% of mobile phone users tended to be anxious when they “lost their mobile phone, ran out of battery or no longer had network coverage.”
So nomophobia is the fear of being away from your mobile phone!
                                                                            Source: anguishedrepose.com

Symptoms:-

Do you

  • have an inability to turn off your phone?
  • take your phone to the bathroom ?
  • obsessively check emails, texts, facebook, twitter, etc.?

Technological advances are certainly increasing day by day but with studies showing that we check our phones on an average 34 times a day, maybe we have gone a bit too far.
Technology is certainly taking over our life.....Our parents keep shouting, friends keep calling but our eyes are always glued to mobile screens. We chat with friends away from us..but ignore those sitting next to us.

Check your technology use

Have you become obsessive about checking your phone? Do you sometimes feel that the virtual universe is more real than the actual universe?
If that sounds like you, here are a few suggestions:

  • Check yourself and limit your own time on the phone.
  • If you are becoming isolated, withdrawn and depress, you may need to seek professional medical help.
  • It may seem silly, but we have to honestly ask these questions regularly and check the influence technology has over our lives.

One day, you may look back on your youth and wish you had spent more time with God, family and friends. You will never look back and wish you spent more time on your phone.
So guys think over it.....!!!!

Can You See Something Sensible?

What Is Life ?

What is life all about??What is the purpose of our existence??What are we living for????
I am sure these thoughts spring up in each one's mind at some point or the other....
Well, what we make out of our living is life...The meaning of life is beyond just body+soul..
Life is full of moments of joy, pleasure, success and comfort punctuated by misery, defeat, failures and problems. There is no human being on Earth, strong, powerful, wise or rich, who has not experienced, struggle, suffering or failure. It's all about facing challenges and solving them with courage.
Each one of us has been given a life for a purpose and it is we who need to search the aim of our lives.A man without any purpose in life is like a ship without rudder.Blessed we are by fate with abilities and strengths,so our motive should be to recognize our gifts, value them and develop them to the fullest rather than allow them to decay
There are two kinds of people....One those who accept life as it is,whatever comes their way and blame the fate for any wrong that happens and there are others who fight to achieve their dreams and goals and try their level best.Instead of blaming the fate they accept their mistakes....
You live only once so stop pretending and impressing the people around you...Come into the real world and live the way you want to..
So friends  enjoy life but also be prepared to bear the pricks of pain.
